Lug Nuts

I need some lug nuts. I'd prefer something chrome/stainless for aesthetics.
I'll also need some sort of locking mechanism.
What should I go with and where should I buy them?
Anybody here have an extra set laying around?

Get chrome plated ones from Ralph Boothe. They're beautiful quality. He may have locking one also if you feel you need those.

Are the stainless steel ones as good or better than the stock ones? I'm referring to looks and strength (for tracking/AX). In regard to chrome plating, I've heard that the chroming process can hurt the strength/integrity of wheels. How about the lug bolts?

I hadn't heard that about chrome plating. As to stainless steel, where did you see S/S lug bolts? They must cost a fortune.

Here is the link on the chroming issue.

I'm not sure if the lug bolts are aluminum or what though...

Stainless steel link...from one of the first responses on this topic.

The chrome ones that I ordered on Ebay were single piece POS...sent back for a refund. I'll stick with my old ones.

Did they flake, chip, or not fit right?

I really don't want to pay $150 for lug nuts, especially from some no-name eBay dealer.
Do any board sponsors have anything available that looks better than stock lugs?

I could tell through the packaging that the chrome looked bad. Also, the single piece was obviously a change from the two piece OEM design. This is not something to be taken lightly on a 150 mph car.

The company that sold them has a great website with pictures of a large, modern facility in Van Nuys, CA. The shipping was prompt, packaging professional, and communication perfect. Crappy product though which doesn't add up with all of the rest of the what appears to be a well run company.

As above, call Ralph Boothe. Does great work and will likely custom in any style that you want.
