Anyone ever use Wheels America to repair "road rash" on their wheels?

 

yes but they are alittle far from your neck of the woods. they are a west coast co. i suggest most wheel shops out there could fix it. they use a file and steal wool for most curbing repairs.

 

Actually they have a location on Long Island, New York.

 

long island location did a repair for me on a factory sport design. but they also clearcoated over the repair which was the whole lip and 2 years later the clear coat all started to chip away and discolor.. not sure on why and I never gave them a chance to make up for it. just my experience..

what's the cost on something like that? I bent a rim once, but it was in the inner wall and was charged $60

Do you know if they fill the damaged portion with body putty or only buff the damaged area?

 

You guys ever see our Mille Miglia Cup 3 wheels? They are a great alternative to buying new ones and having your Porshe dealer violate your wallet. They were designed and look just like the turbo twist wheels for 1/3rd the price. They do accept your factory center caps and are available in chrome as well. Check them out:
