EVOM-Super Charger on a C4S

This is probably a very dumb question but if I add a EVOM super charger would it void out my Extended Warranty? I'm 99.9% sure it would but I wanted to double check. thanks.

Once the dealer sees that shiny blower, they're just gonna laugh... all bets are off. But people are SC'ing there 997 and they have alot more to loose.

Engine mechanical mods typically VOID the warranty. But read the fine print!

It might void your warranty, but it sure would be fun. The CA smog issue would be a pain in the neck.

Thanks for the advice. I really don't have another 90K to plop down for a new 997 yet. Maybe in the near future but hell no. Would be nice to add a little kick for 12K but I'll have to go small MODS to keep the warranty.

If your dealer is cool, generally they will not cover something that the SC has caused to fail, everything else should be fine.

I have a warranty until 12/08. I am contemplating doing this, but won't until after the warranty expires.

I would probably wait till your warranty expires....You just never know.
Whatever you decide good luck.

From my understanding anything past the cats is OK and will not void the warranty. You should be able to get away with an intake, but headers, sport cats (after market) and SC's will probably throw that CPO/warranty out the window. I'm thinking about doing the SC as well so if you do, let me know how the C4S turns out.

A dealer cant void your warranty unless they can sufficiently prove the SC has caused something to fail. They cant just say it, they need solid proof. If they cant prove it, you still have a warranty.

Yes, this is my understanding as well. The Stealer must prove that the S/C is the PROXIMATE cause of the malfunction in question.
