Wont fit.....997s are wider than 996s so a widebody 997 wheel will not fit a narrow body 996. If you had a widebody 996 then yes.

those are some ugly wheels. finish is popular with the discount tire/les schwab wheel inventory.

Unhappy

I like them looks very cool and car feels very light. Never knew discount tires sells $3200 forged aluminum turbo wheels desighned to put 500+ HP to the ground, learn something new every day.

yea and it's insane people will actually spend that much on ugly wheels when there are plenty of better aftermarket wheels that give you even more for less (or more for more).

sure if you order a 997 turbo and it comes with it so be it. but to actually spend the time and effort and $ to put it on a non-997 Turbo car... is pretty dumb.

-lots of wheels are forged
-lots of wheels can handle 500+hp
-lots of wheels can become "turbo" wheels whatever the F that means

Dude it all depends what person likes and want to put on there car it's simple as that don't impose your opinions on others. I loved those wheels that’s why I put them on my car now if you have a problem with that bite me.

Let me put a smile on your face Choi, car is totaled and going to junk ward hope you feel better now.

Looks like we have a battle brewing. I think the 19" turbos are hot. Looking to upgrade to the TechArt 19" Formula II, or the 19" 997 Turbo.

Wheels don't match the 996 at all.

They only look proper as OEM on 997 Turbo.

I like em and would pick Porsche OEM 10Xs over aftermarket. Very few companies can match porsche. BBS being one I can think of. Definetly will not fit on a 996 C2 I tried : )

What a funny combination. There's better choices of wheels out there for a relatively decent price.

I would have to agree with OEM quality, though some may not like an OEM look. BBS is good stuff too, and so are the TechArts, which I believe are made by BBS. At least there is a BBS marking on my TechArt 18" rims.

it's your money and your brain which is rolling around in mud called ignorance since oem wheels are limited by cost considerations a great deal more so than the aftermarket (Fikse, BBS, OZ, Work, Champion, CCW, etc). there is ALWAYS a better aftermarket wheel alternative out there over oem esp given that the same oem suppliers for porsche, honda, toyota, bmw also have their aftermarket line-up where the real quality and beauty comes thru.

I think BC just summed it up nicely!
