tire size

can I put 295/30/18s on my 18in light weight carrera wheels instead of 285/30/18s

Probably...................

The width difference between the two is minimal. But from the calculations below the rotations per mile is off a bit.

285 is tire 1 and 295 is tire 2

Recommended rim width for a 295 30 18 is 10.5"-11.5"

Yes,

I'am running 235/40 18 F. 295/35/18 R. no problems, on light weight carrera wheels (pilots).

Speaking of AVS Sports, WHY does Yokohama not make this tire in a 285/30-18 is beyond me.

they just recommend that it be within 3% of the original tire diameter bigger or smaller. any more is not recommended, and the fit your asking is below 1%, so your good.
