how to remove "carrera" emblem

hey guys, my car has the black carrera emblem on it and my car is black. I have been thinking of switching it to the silver . How do I go about doing this without damaging the paint?? Is it as simple as dental floss and a credit card, as I have read?? Thanks

Hair dryer to warm it up, then dental floss for the removal. I use kerosene or Coleman fuel to take the sticky stuff off where it was stuck on there

This is the correct method. To clean up you can use a simple goof-off or similar treatment. Make sure to clean up the area where the emblem was removed afterwards.

You can re-apply it with 3M emblem adhesive.

Clean the area with 3M adhesive remover, this is what body shops use.

What's "stealthy" about a Porsche without a Carrera emblem? I can understand leaving off a turbo emblem, but a Carrera emblem?
