Cargraphic Wheel Review w/pics
Cargraphic Wheel Review w/pics
As I stated in my earlier of review the Cargraphic exhaust, the people over at Cargrpahic USA are a pleasure to deal with.
I had originally thought I was going to have to wait weeks or months to get something with black centers for my car. I had the wheels at my door withing three days of placing my order. I got lucky and he had exactly what I was looking for in stock and ready to go.
I ordered 8.5 fronts and 10.5 rears, with Dunlop 245's and gigantic 305's respectively.
The wheels were shipped in large cardboard boxes with plenty of extra cardboard sheets to protect the front and rear of the wheels.
The wheels came mounted and balanced. No damage at all to the edges from mounting, and they were apparently balanced properly as there appears to be no vibration at normal speeds so far.
I also ordered their "center lock dummies". I thought it looked kind of cool, even if I was just posing. I had the stock lugs powdercoated gloss black to downplay the lugs even being on there and focus more attention on the center locks.
Fit and finish were excellent. The painted centers looked perfect and the polished lips looked great as well. Fit was spot on. The fronts kind of freaked me out a little when I first got them on. There is only about 2-3 mm clearance between the spokes and the calipers. I spun the wheels around a little as a test and it never touches. The valve stem is even hidden in with the rivets on the outside, with the cap looking like a rivet as well. Nice attention to detail.
I wish I had weighed my stock ones and these before I mounted them up. I meant to, but forgot. They are definatley a little heavier, which is accounted for by the larger diameter wheel and much larger tire sizes.
I'm very happy with them. I think they look great. Black wheels don't work on every car, but I feel speed yellow is an exception. Wish the rear lip was bigger, but that has more to do with my choice of cars than the wheel
I'm limited by my "skinny" body C2.
Figured I'd thow up some pics so you guys could get a look. No cracks about the ride height. I know it looks like a cayenne. It's against my better judgment to even post these before I got the suspension work done. I'm waiting on some parts from Cargraphic to cure that as well
Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.

Nope. I used the factory tool kit. Just real careful. It still clips the edges a little when tightening. Nothing you can do about that. The nylon sockets tend to be fatter and not fit into the holes. It's a lose lose situation. You can't really see the edges anyway since the bolts sit so deep in the hole. The heads of the bolts don't get touched and that's the important part.

a wonderful review, and very beautiful wheels i might add. i think they look good on the car, i kind of like the non-painted wheels myself. have fun with her, the suspension might just set it off perfectly.
