I just had mine done about a month ago. I bought it from Sunset Porsche in Oregon. I was pleasantly surprised that it only cost about $350.

I used SAFELITE and it was around $350 too...OEM glass the whole thing. No need to go anywhere fancy schmancy. Safelite was perfect.

Windshield Protection

You do not want to use clear bra film (polyurethane) on your windshield. It may help protect it but you really can't see through it very well, and it would damage easliy the first time you used your wipers. BUT...there is a new product designed specifically for your windshield called Windshield Skin. It is an optically clear polyester film about half as thick as clear bra film and also has a scratch resistant coating that works very well.

x2 the safelite. You do want a good installer and new seals.

Has anyone installed the Proline product on their winshield.
