Well, as blasphemous as this sounds...a new g37 is what? 38, 40k? Well, there are some 996s in that range...and depending on exactly what one wants, I could see a possible comparison in ones thought process about how to spend the dough on a "new" car.


Kind of OT. The porsche is a hell of a car, but good god guys...in the end, its JUST a Porsche, not a ticket to the lifetime showing of arrogance...

G37 is NOT faster than a 996.....in ANY way....Your friend is drinking the JDM Kool-Aid...next he will be telling you how much of it is the same as the Nissan GT-R.

I ran up next to a G37S yesterday. Looked pretty much like the G35 from what I could tell. We did a 2nd gear roll on going up the 17th street causeway bridge ( a big draw bride) into 3rd gear. I dusted him so bad he wouldn't pull up to me at the light at the bottom of the bridge.

Looks like the new nissan Altima is more like it
