996 Turbos and C2 have the same front side radiators?

I'm getting ready to install my front Turbo bumper this friday and it came with the turbo radiators vents.
Does these one bolt on into my C2 radiators or I'm better leaving the vents totally out?
I know the original C2 bumper radiator vents won't match the big turbo openings in the bumper.

I bought the turbo bumper used from a 6speedster Nero and I got it yesterday. From a 2001 Speed yellow turbo... and the paint match perfectly my 2002 Speed yellow C2!

no need for a bodyshop!

thanks

seeing how you have them install them, you don't have to, the stock ones work but they do not line up properly. The swap is really easy and you will have fun doing it, just remember that the aluminum bumper on the inside will have to be cut around 2" per side.Once your into in you will see what i mean.

I didn't install them, in fact, I took my funnels out and left the radiators alone. I don't want the openings to be covered by the bumper and not getting any air...

The installation was easy but not straight forward. I came out with a solution for the bottom screws (which btw, none of them align with the frame!) I can believe it that nobody though about it.

The real aluminum bumper, I didn't want to cut. I painted black the 5" on each end and of course, removed the stoppers on the side vents. The car looks awesome now. No more the "tame" look (or what my friends at work said : "Sally" look) anymore!

I have a 04 CS and did the same conversion last week..Turbo bumper to replace factory one. My local shop did not install the original vents because they didn't line up correctly. This weekend I took the car to the track and it overheated for the first time. Now I don't know what to do because if you look at a turbo..the radiators are mounted much closer to the openings than ours. If anyone elso has suggestions please let us know. It also runs about 5 degrees hotter on a long distance freeway ride.

You can use the original trim for the headlights. They just snap off and on.
In regards of your overheating, I don't know what to tell you. I drive 100 miles everyday (work in ft lauderdale and live in miami) with a mix of 90% highway speeds and 10% stop and go. I will say that the stop and go traffic is not really an issue since air is not flowing thru the vents/ducts/radiators/etc... it's just the fan pulling the fresh air inside. During the highway speeds, that's another story, since the aerodynamics will enter into play but again, I had no issues with my morning drive.
I don't know if anybody else could chime in with his/her experience with this bumper and no radiator duct installed?
