Angry Sunroof problems ?

I have taken my car to the local dealer 3 times with the same issue.the sunroof closes 3/4 of the way then it goes back to the open position.it only closes with the button fully depressed.
Dealer said there is nothing wrong with it & simply added heavy grease. After the 3rd time & the issue is still present, what should i do now that my warranty will expire in 3-4 months?
Any advise will be appreciated guys..

Mine does that too sometimes but only when it is really windy or at high speeds. I would say I havent determined the true root cause, but it is infrequent and irritating. I wish I had a better answer for you

It's probably sensing resistance. It's a safety feature. Mine did this after I applied some foam pads to reduce noise. So I removed some of the foam pads and it worked fine. Check for obstructions. If there aren't any, your dealer should cover it under warranty.

Search, this issue has been discussed.

Mine does it to. But the light flickers on and off so I think the my switch may be to blame. But others say its from gunk and dirt causing it to go back.

It's the sunroof supposed to be really slow?
To be honest with you guys, I can't figure it out to make it work, even after reading the manual. One touch opening? never worked for me. Do you need to tilt open to open the sunroof? The dealer said the same story here. There's nothing wrong with it. I gave up and assumed I don't have a sunroof. keep it closed at all times. What a solution!

It's due to the fact that Porsche spends all their time engineering performance, and things like sunroof switches get no attention from their engineering dept

including the cumbersome huge chuck of the center console that they've ingeniously assigned to holding four CDs.

It's the switch. $53 + tax. Make sure the dealer doesn't break the panel tabs when they put it in. If they do you'll be waiting 4-5 business days for it to come in. Ask me how I know!
