Too much glare?

Alright, I am dying to spruce up my interior. I am going to paint side vents, dash stripes, Horseshoe, cluster surround and lower console artic silver (rest interior black)

I am debating to paint the defrost vents and alarm piece artic silver also. I am not sure if they would throw too much glare up on the window though.

Anyone done this? I remember seeing a pic somewhere but can't find it now.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Wow......33 views and no comments?

Am I just stupid to think of doing this? Driving in today I noticed it glared out with just the charcoal colored ones now. Not sure how much more it would do.

they might; why not paint a piece of cardboard or paper and tape to the dash. drive around and see how much glare there is.

this way if its too much you won't have painted a part; just the cardboard.

I just ordered the painted rear console today.... in speed yellow. I have aluminum track mats and alum pedals. The console armrest will be carbon fiber to match the handbrake and shiftknob. I think I will stop there.

Thanks for the pic..... yup pretty good refelection going on there. Will have to experiment a bit. Used ones look to run 50-100 so might be worth getting a set and painting those.
