Sleeper Idea

I might be purchasing a '98 Boxster that is Arctic Silver w/ Boxster Red interior (my fav combo on this model). It has 52,xxx on it and I could get it for a deal from a friend. I had a great idea for a sleeper with this car: no external mods at all, but maybe bigger wheels to fit BIG RED brakes.

Engine:
3.4 L 996 engine (not too, too hard)
EVO Supercharger
EVO Exhaust

Tranny:
Evo Stage 2 Clutch/FW
996./986S Tranny?? (Could the 5 spd take the 400 RWHP?)

Thinking 17 inch RUF Wheels w/ Big Reds

Any thoughts? What a sleeper! Lightweight and crazy power in a stock looking Boxster.

dont think you need the brakes really.. and there are kits for the boxster engine. lots cheaper and still make the car real fast. IMO

How much are you getting the Boxter for? I found some good ones in my area with about 30k miles for $22k.

16K... I know, great paint/body/interior, haven't snapped on the idea because I am contemplating a 930 project.

Is there enough room for a super charger with the 3.4L in the Boxster?

Good deal I suppose, I would take the Boxter over the 930, but thats just me. How much would it cost all together to get the car done? The super charger kit all together?

Go with the 986S six speed, same as the 996's tranny.
