no STOPPING the mods
Here I go again: D...Now I'm ready for the Hawk's Nest run on Sunday August 1st!
As some of you know, I have not been happy with my stock brakes. Well I finally did something about it...
Brakes were not one of my strong points so Brakes 101 was needed.
Thanks to Hershel and Erik @ Cargraphic - 6speed members: Ken (KPV), Ron (vipertestarossa), Ben (ben, lj)
And of course Bobby Singh from Manhattan Motorsports
After much thought, research and recommendations this is what I decided to do:
Blue Pagid Pads (I'll switch to orange for track days)
Stainless Steel Brake lines
Super Blue Brake fluid
And of course stock calipers painted red
Today I went to Manhattan Motorsports, my buddy Bobby offered me his shop, tools and technical help
Under his watchful eyes the upgrade began. (With him busting my chops as always)
I enjoyed this mod so much, exhaust was my favorite this is a close second. Suspension - way down the list
End result = Night and day! Just amazing, I'm so pleased. So much pedal now, stop on a dime
Happy to report no broken nails, but the brake fluid melted my nail polish.

You are a One-Of-A-Kind woman that I am so pleased to call my very good friend!! I am so proud and in admiration of you taking on these things!!
The brakes look awesome and I am sure they will serve you very well with the upgrades. I am certain, the Hawk's Nest will not be any problem for you.......the real test will be Watkins Glen on October 8 and 9!!!!! We might have to swap cars for a few laps at the Glen!! What do you think??
