Hi, does anyone know what is the max. height on PSS9s for a C2 99, compared to stock. I heard its stock height on there maximum, but I
also heard 1 inch lower than stock, could anyone confirm.

thanks

Not sure what max height is.... but you should be lowering it after you put it on anyways

I lowered my 996 an inch when I had the PSS9s installed. I think it looks better and feels better on the road.

Hope the info helps. Mine is set at stock height first then GT3 height after for comparison. Opinion - there is no comparison after its lowered in handling.

You should set at the euro height to start, then lower to GT3. Dont go too low or you'll run out of shock travel and the car will run on the bump stops possible locking the suspension, not a good thing when cornering quickly.
Just ask the Nascar guys what they think of the COT, they have the same issue ....

I had my height set at stock at first and drove it around approx 300 miles for the springs to settle and see how it handled. The handling was not that crisp and it had a little bit of a roll compared to after lowering. It also needed to be lowered because it didn't look right with 18" wheels.

I then lowered it close to GT3 specs and the 1"+ reduction in height makes a huge difference in handling and feel. I did it at my Indy shop so all it cost me was a new alignment. You may end up paying for another hour of labor as well for height adjustment.

I have only hit bump stops when traveling over high speed bumps faster than you should. Basically, the rule of thumb is the stiffer your setting on shocks, the lower you can set the height on your car.

I lowered my car about 1.1 inches when I installed my PSS9's and it's worked pretty well for me. I'm debating on lowering a tad more, but the ride is great, the handling much improved and the looks are very nice. I also don't have any problems with clearance on the car, so all around the PSS's have been a winner.

I have plenty of adjustment left to raise the car to stock height, but lowering it a little has worked out well for me.
