Question Audio Question?

Hello all,

I had a quick question, I bought the kenwood ddx7015 and was wondering if it would work in my 02 carrera cab. with the bose stereo system. If so, what all is required for the installation?

Thanks Kal

I'm not 100% sure about the 996, but Bose systems typically have powered speakers that are integrated with the Bose headunits. Therefore you cannot interchange different brands of speakers or headunits.

However there are converter boxes that you can install that will bypass this limitation and allow you to use a different headunits with the bose speakers or vice versa.

is that the MOST digital bus system? I bought the same reciever and NAV system...great unit. If your car has the digital system then no, you will need new amps, if not then yes, just connect the system to your previous input wires and you are all set...What CD player was there before? The CDR-23? if so thats digital, if it's the CDR-220 then you can simply use the same wires to connect your system.
