The Facts:

The 911 has always been the quintessential model for the Porsche enthusiast to own. Replacing the factory components with our insulated carbon airbox and custom air filter, provides the engine increased inlet volume, enhanced flow velocity, and reduced intake temperature; all pivotal to extracting maximum horsepower. The autoclaved carbon fiber construction results in components of unparalleled strength, lightness, and beauty. Installs in under an hour without modification and meets OEM specifications.
FEATURES:
• Increases horsepower and torque
• Improves throttle response and fuel efficiency
• Maintains factory emissions components
• Fits vehicles with manual or Tiptronic transmissions
• Unique thermal barrier composite construction
ensures low inlet temperatures.

PERFORMANCE:
• Power increase: 11-15 hp
• Torque increase: 12-16lb/ft

APPLICATIONS:
• All 1998-2004 996 Non-Turbo Porsche 911 Models
• All 2004-2008 997 Non-Turbo Porsche 911 Models

There's always questions, so let's hear them!

More Details: Uses a K&N cone filter, so its cleaned the same way as all other K&N filters using their cleaner kit. There is a hatch/door that you can open via a screw driver in the bottom of the airbox. After you remove the airbox from the car.

This Airbox is made by Carbonio!

Interested.
Maybe actual production product would be much better, but the installed pictures of the airbox shows seams or overlapping carbon fiber. Price ?

A just think I price should be included when trying to market a new product especially when placed on a forum. That is just my 2 cents

+1, akin to a FS post without a price.

Took me all of about 5 minutes to track down the price- was expecting to see the usual "Call for pricing" logo in light of the omission of price in the post. One can assume the price omission was an accident or perhaps done with the intent to generate interest.

That's a nice looking piece but I'm a little blown away by the price point. That's $400 more than the OEM carbon fiber X-51 box which allows for a dual snorkle intake setup.
