I have a black 996, and want to paint my cup2 19" wheels black with white lip?

Nah..... the white lip looks cheezy. How about semi gloss black. If you really want a colored lip... go with thin red lip with red brake calipers.

I would go with semi gloss black with black car and window tint.... did it on my wifes Boxster .

 

that wheel has an identity crisis - far from hot

and the dude above... says white lip is cheezy but recommends some lipstick red lining as if that's cool? lol

 

I simply said that if he was going to paint it...paint it red, rather than white. I wouldn't recommend painting it with lipstick though, it will wash off. Maybe Mr Choi can recommend a lipstick that he might know of...

I think it would look better all black.

Either all black or all silver. Can't go wrong with silver wheels.

All black is played out IMO. Easier to keep those spare tires clean though

But if you must, I agree with win911, red lipstick or maybe yellow would be different...with matching caliper color of course.
