How do ceramic films compare to the regular stuff in regard to cell phone signal interference?

How dark are you thinking of going? Each state has different laws. Some completely prohibit front tint, some allow up to 35%. I believe that's the limit, legally. I have 20% on my car all around and love it. With black/black it's difficult to see in even during the middle of the day, and pitch black from the outside at night. It's also dark to see out of at night if you're in very poor lit areas. I have been pretty lucky, but some people/areas will get a lot more attention from the cops than others

5% all windows. Hit the windshield with metallic or titanium film. (reflective)

Thanks for the response and suggestions. I will check to see what our rules state. I think we can't have any tint on the drivers/passenger windows, only rear side windows.

But i'm still planning on going ahead, and was thinking 20% ceramic as well.

I went with 30% non metalic all around and 50% on the entire windshield. It came out great on my 650i. It's plenty of enough that people can't see my face but they can see the outline. It's not too dark during the day that you will get hassled and it's very easy to see out of at night. The windshield tint helps keep the light out from the front so the sides look darker.

0% all around and pretend you're playing bumper cars. But it will look cool as sh*t.

My Supra was tinted double-layered 5% on all windows & 5% windshield. So I guess you could call it 0%. It was insane. Looking OUT on a moon-less night in a dark alley was like looking INTO 5%. With the targa top off you still couldnt see in with the windows UP. Loved it..

Cool

Dang....it sucks to get old.

My car came from Miami and has 5% limo tint. It looks great.....but

I don't see that well at night and I can't see shat!

I have to roll the windows down to be safe.

Plus, I have already gotten pulled over and given a warning ticket by local police.

I'm paying a guy $50 to remove it and I'll re-tint at legal limit (30-35%) in Spring.
