I have done the built in garage door hack...

I just did the "cabriolet-top hack" so I can raise and lower while moving...

I am considering doing the "on-board computer hack" as well since my car did not come with it...

Anybody have any other cool mods/hacks that are useful for our cars???

whats the on board computer hack?

 

It adds the 4th stalk on the steering column and turns on the On Board Computer for temp, MPG info, etc...All cars were wired with it, but if you did not get that option, they didn't include to stalk for it and it is turned off...The dealer can turn it on and you can install the stalk on the steering column youself with a Porsche or VW 4 stalk unit.

 

Is there a link or someone that can tell me how to do the on board computer hack?

OBC Hack

It explains it in a nut-shell. You can do the hack with or without the stalk. I am still looking for somebody who has done it without using the stalk and just a switch/button to toggle between the functions...

 

-Painted rear bumperettes
-Amberectomy for yor your front turn signals (assuming you don't have the amber lenses).
-Replace dull Porsche lug bots with chrome ones from Ralph Boothe
