So it was a nice day today and i wanted to take a drive with the top down. I pressed the button and the top started to go down about half way through it going down the motor started making a werid nice. It sounded like it was winding really fast and not pulling anything. I went to close it and it would not move.I can pull it closed by hand then press the button and it fully closes. Has this happend to anyone and what does it sound like the problem is??

I don't know if this helps, but one of my side flaps sometimes gets caught, so it stops when it hits it. Once I push that side flap, it then finishes closing.

 

After talking to some people and looking on Renntech it all seems to lead to the pump for the top being low on hydrolic fluid. There's a great Diy i found so gonna try that this weekend....
