996 carrera vs c5 corvette
guess that all depends on what you mean by run with it... track probably, dragstrip likely no, highway pulls again likely no. At the end of the day you would still have a 911 which I would rather have any day than a c5 vette regardless of which one is faster and I had three different c5's before moving to a 911 then a 911 turbo.
First off, who cares? No matter how much people love comparing them, the reality is that there is NO comparison...
Second off, I don't know why the OP hasn't been banned yet. He's clearly a troll. Just look at all the stupid threads he's started asking "Will a stock 996 run with _____" .... What a d0uchebag. He probably drives a Mustang anyway.

lol in that Case, i think that Vette got nothing on a Tata Nano either... :P
Also, don't forget how big the engine is in that Chevy. As they say, find someone your size. Even that, if you consider the monstrous engine capacity, and the hp it produces...it should really be returning way better performance. Shame on the engineering, really...
Once the road turns twisty, it's advantage Porsche
no real comparison, hell my friend had a C5 and loved riding in my M3 cause of the refinement and handling and we dreamed of 911's all the time. It's hard to compare a porsche to anything really. Luckily the C5 did not stay stock too long and after a new motor and gears and exhaust and what not she was about 450rwhp and we would trade rides for the day just so I could scare myself to death and he could take some corners without braking.
