Exhaust question
Which exhaust for a 996 c2 cab. will be tame when driving normal and have a deep sports car sound when you step on it. My car is soooo quiet. Vic

Just installed a Fabspeed on my cab and am loving it. not too loud when cruising but is nice and aggressive at WOT. Sounds great at start up.

+1 on the Fabspeed. I have headers, hi flow cats and mufflers. Great sound and butt dyno says "yes"

I currently have the heaters and mufflers and have een considering the cat as well. How much loader do the cats make the exhaust? How do they change the overall sound quality?

PSE is the way to go, gives the best of both worlds. In the quiet mode is is just a little louder than the stock mufflers. In the default/loud mode it is pretty quiet until you step on the gas, then a nice thoatty sound to it. I love mine, and the ability to switch it on and off. I did not activate the quiet mode from 25-40 mph on mine.

Alot of owners like the Fabspeed, but I have also seen alot of posts with owners complaining about resonance/drone with them.

I have the M&K cans and couldn't be happier. I had three other systems before and finally got it right with M&K. They are loud but sooooooo sweet. I never listen to the sound system anymore.

My vote for Cargraphic. It made a HUGE improvement in my enjoyment of the car. Either one is probably fine -- but you definitely will enjoy the difference!

I just installed the After Hours exhaust on Fri and it's definitely better sounding than the stock setup.

If you are looking for that deep sports car sound when you accelerate, and tame sound while cruising checkout our Maxflo muffler for the 996 C2.

Many choices to be had but as many things the best/most refined will be the most expensive. This includes PSE, tubi and europipe to mention a fewand some of the best.
I decided on SpeedArt, love the sound never looked back.
