which brake pads?

porsche sport pads or pagid blue with oem rotors?
dd with 2-3 track days a year. willing to put up with a little noise for increased braking ability for the track. will also add briaded lines and maybe motul 600.

As for what you suggested: Porsche sport pads = pagid blue, and are only OK for track duty. Try Pagid Yellow (RS19/RS29) or PFF-06 if you want performance. None of the above are really loud on the street either.

Motul 600 is a good move, braided lines are probably not necessary.

I have the Porsche sport pads for my daily use. I did not notice any difference in the noise level compared to OE. I did 1 track day on them. They are noticeably a little better than OE. I just switched over to Pagid orange. I've got 1 track day on them and they are another decent step up from the sport pads. I only will use the Pagids for track use and hope to get in 4-5 events more this season. For daily use, I put on the Sports. If I was only going to do 2-3 track days, considering the cost difference in the pads, I'd stick with the Sports myself.

Hey Eric, I replaced the pads and rotors on my previous 99 996 with Mintex red box pads. They squealed constantly...it reminded me of deliverance. I went back to OEM Porsche pads and gave the Mintex pads away after less than 100 miles.
