Kirby had posted some pics of you car a while back, but I was wondering if you had pics of the nav system that Paris did for you...and any applicable info, speakers, head unit, etc.

Hey 01 C4 Cab NYC

I have a few more pics on Hpbbystage (link Below). Might be the same ones you saw already, not sure.

 

I just got home...and it's dark. I'm afraid it's too late for good pics. I'll be able to do so tomorrow...sorry about that.

However to give you an outline of what I am running before the pictures from the Carrera:

Alpine 7894 Headunit which supports MP3, XM, CD, etc.
Alpine 7" LCD Screen in dash
Apline Navigation NVE 852A
Alpine DVD/CD Changer (6 Disk) DHA 5680
Apline Terk Antenna for XM and Alpine reciever.
As far as the speakers, I am running a custom Sub of two 8" JL's
Rears are Focal
Doors are Focal
Dash A/D/S
Audio Control 16 band EQL
Two Auduson Amps (5 channel and 2 channel)

I've attached pictures of the screen and head unit as this was the same of which I had in my Boxster, simply moved to the Carrera...it's all the in same spot, just looks a bit different. I'll take pictures of the Carrera install tomorrow in lighted conditions for you.

That is one sweet setup. Was tossing around the idea of putting in an aftermarket nav system...yours looks about as good as it gets...having a c4 conv, there is precious little storage space, so not sure how much of it I'd wanna use for amps, eq, etc. But this certainly gives me some good ideas...

Nice. FWIW, if you want to keep rewiring of switches etc to a minimum (if you don't already have a PCM setup and the air con switches right down next to the gearshift) a VDO Dayton DVD system fits perfectly below the existing climate control and radio once you've removed the CD holder and cubby.

 

That's one rockin' system. Robyn turned it on last weekend during that get together and if I didn't have an exhaust, that's the kind of stereo I'd want.

Wow this is an old thread... all that stuff is so last month! The new set up is gonna be amazing. (Going Kenwood) I even can't wait to see it!! Man I miss my car.

Congrats! I LOVE mine! the DVD mp3 discs are great 4.7 GB of MP3's on one disc! Sorted by folder with all info scrolling across the screen....
