What do you guys recommend using for adhesive to put it back on?

If it fell off the airbag then it really shouldn't be there. Wheels with factory crests are recessed in so if and when the airbag goes off it won't tattoo your forehead. The glue on's stick out.

Steering wheel or wheel wheel?

 

Center cap of the wheel...the one with the tire on it.

 

I used silicone on mine when it fell off more than a year ago. No issues since.

 

Great. I just bought some too. Wanted to make sure that would work. A little cool for curing right now though.

 

Just take the center cap inside It can be pulled off with the tool in the tool set.

 

Common problem, happened to me too, just got new ones off fleabay

 

Yep, I did that last night. Since there wasn't an emblem on there I was able to stick a scribe in one of the holes and pull the center cap out, but it is good to know there is a tool for it.

Cleaned it up and slapped some silicone on there and let it cure over night.

My center cap emblem's were faded/cracking ... what I did is remove the remaining glue underneath to have just the metal emblems. Placed in boiling water to soften the plastic colouring, picked away plastic to get bare metal. Used a model car paint kit and re-coloured on the emblems with more vibrant paint, sprayed with clearcoat to protect. Final touch was using wind screen black urethane adhesive ... great for all weather and temperatures and NEVER comes off. A small drop on the back of each emblem pressed into the recessed cap has locked them in place forever ... or at least until some kids try prying them off Either way, they look great and I saved $100 from buying new caps.
