What are the most comfortable OEM seats for a daily driver 996?

I have a 99 C4 with GT3 seats in it. I think they are comfortable, but I know I am going to wear out the bolsters getting in and out of them..and some of my passengers have less than a fun time getting in and out.

What are good OEM seats for a daily driver 996? My car doesn't have the heated seat switches..but would it be difficult to add heated seats to it?

whatever seats you get, sheepskins can be a good investment. especially black seats on a summer day.

I have a 04 C4S with the supple leather seats, and they are very comfortable. They are heated with electronic controls. They are the seats with just the 3 stitch lines along the "butt" portion of the seat and also have the Porsche Crest in the seat back.

You can find lots of seats on Ebay. As for adding heated seats here is the DIY I used and adapted for a 996.

If you can find a set of Porsche Sport Seats........very comfortable, hold well, excellent on long trips. (Believe it or not). Had them in my 04'C4S and compared to my 09 997 C2S with the vented seats, the 996 Sports were much nicer. (So you get the bolstering to hold you, but great comfort w/o the full luxury style seats/soft leather.

Interesting. I was going with 997 stock. This makes me think.

I agree here. I like the sport seats but dont find them comfortable for a long trip/daily. I can live without the lower lumber support adjustment for quick weekend blasts, but a daily thing, not sure..

I sat in the regular supple seats, and really liked them, felt much softer.
