Stance GR+ Coilovers

Just got some Stance GR+ coilovers. Not sure when I am going to get a chance to slap these in, but took some quick photos.

For the price I think they are really nice. They also come with pillowball upper mounts which is a plus. Once I get a chance to install them I will be sure to give you guys an update on how they ride.

Just got done installing the stance coilovers. Went in really easy, just had to make a spacer for the rear swaybar mount(last pic). More pictures to come..., but for now I am hitting the road to test these out!

Ok just got in from testing these out, and DAMN, huge difference over stock suspension. Love it! I set it 7 clicks from full hard, so basically right in the middle, ride height fender to ground is 25" all around. This is much lower than stock with no harshness. A lot better handling, and I am still on stock C2 sways. I will be going a few more clicks to full hard next time out. Car is a blast now!! Will post ride height pictures next chance I get.

I set camber at:
F: 1.6
R: 2.3

Still need to set toe.

It looks like from the pictures that you can adjust both the front and rear height from the lower mounts, keeping the spring tight in its perch and not loosing ride comfort (and hitting bump stops). Is this correct?

So you have to fabricate and weld on a bracket for the rear sways. Seems kind of cheesy. Why don't they provide one, or are they adapting a set designed for another car? Does/could the welding damage the shock?

YES!!!! This is what I like about them. These are designed to ride low without compromising ride. I am soooo much lower than stock and I kid you not comfort wise it rides the same, at least with the setting in the middle. Will crank up the stiffness though because I like the go kart feel!

No welding at all. It just needs a small spacer where the rear swaybar link mounts. Seriously a 2 sec fix, no welding. I forget how big I made mine ( less than a 1/2"). Look at the picture again. Instead of the spacer you could use like 3 washers, or another nut to lock the swaybar bolt in position. It's just because the swaybar mount bolt is so long and bracket is short on the stance coilovers.

This is some pictures from last night. I just got it off the jack stands so the front hadn't settled yet. I checked this AM and it's a 1/2 inch lower in the front so looks better. I will get better pictures, but really need to wait for the new wheels!

Disregard the sunken battleship, I need like 90mm spacers. LOL

The bracket for the sways is already welded on from the factory, check out the pictures from the first post, I had to do a double-take.

Sorry I missed that bracket in the first pictures as it was underneath the shock. Look pretty nice, and a lot less expensive than the PSS10's I just got. Now both Ksport and Stance have coilovers in the $1,000 price range. It will be interesting to hear about the performance and durability of these. Do they make them for a C4?

Unfortunately I don't think they make them for a C4 yet. These are not $1k, not sure where you guys are getting that price, cause I paid more than that. Comparing stance to ksports I think is apples and oranges.

I will keep you guys updated on how they are over the long run.

Honestly I have no real world experience with them.

Just going by what I have heard, which was problems with leaking, but that may be fixed now.

They definitely look different.
