does anyone have any experience with the tpcsupercharger for the 996. i know its not available yet. but i read a review last year that sounded very good. any other info out there.

TPC supercharger has been vaporware for a long time now. EVO has their supercharger now, my car is getting it installed any day now.

 

yes, i too got tired of TPC's "available...". my car should be finished (EVO SC) late this week/early next. i'd rather deal with EVO anyway since they do what they say they're gonna do when they say they're gonna do it.

 

You guys will be impressed. I saw Todd's yellow demo unit at the autofest. Looked like a very clean/good looking install. I'm sure you'll scare a few turbos

 

the install is very clean (quite the sleeper).

 

Does anyone have a link to the EVO supercharger product? Is it for the 3.6 engines or 3.4?

 

What kind of power is the SC making on those 996s?

Q: Are you upgrading your clutch at all - or are you going to try out the stock clutch with the Xtra HP and see if it is ok with not too much abuse?

the stock clutch isn't even that good for stock power (one of the crappiest things in the entire car IMO). in addition to putting in a stronger clutch, i'm also putting in a lightweight single mass flywheel.
