Hi everyone,

The name is Alex, have been on this site for a while and really enjoying all the wealth of information this site has to offer. I currently have a 996 Targa and I'm enjoying everyday with it. I've owned various sports cars in the past (several M3's) but driving a Porsche is just devine.

Here's a picture of my ride. I've done a few mods, and like most car enthusiasts the modding never ends... So I just wanted to say 'Hello' & introduce myself to the Porsche community!!!

Is the targa emblem in silver? Or is it just the reflection with the angle making it look other than black?

nice car... I have always loved black since it was the color of my 1st car when I turned 16; a "camaro z28 w/ tan top". But i just dont have the time to treat a black car the way it needs to be treated... and thats with lots of love and ""LOTS OF WAXING"" but when its shinny, its shinny...

Nice 996! I came very close to buying a Blue 03 Targa before I bought this 996 Green coupe at the time. Got to love that glass top it makes it even sexier.

Would like to know about the Targa emblem too ... that would look great on my 2003. Your car looks fantastic ... Wheels really set it off.
