I'm already setup with -- JIC/Cross FLT2 15-way Adjustable Suspension
GT3 Sway Bars
so i should be pretty good in the suspension area.
any other thoughts or suggestions?

+1 - I'd spend a good year trying to figure everything else out, before upgrading to slicks. There is so much more to learn from that car, even with snow tires on.
If you haven't tried road course, I'd highly recommend that for your car.
(just my inexperienced $.02, after every auto-x I always ask myself why I waste my time).

a couple AX is good warm up for track event. make sure you signup with an instructor when you do hit the track. you'll learn so much and have more fun with an instructor that has been teaching for a while.

As others have mentioned, the best improvement in autox time will be seat time.
But if you absolutely have to spend money, then R-compounds or slicks will improve your time more dramatically than any suspension mod you can ever do.

If you want to go faster, spend your time/money through instruction and learning the limits of your existing set up. If this was your first time out autoXing, I'd argue that you have more than enough car for your current ability.
