Welcome. I'm in Toronto if you ever want to meet up. I also have a 2004 C4S but it's a Cab.

What was your reasoning behind the C4? Considering a 996 purchase and in living in Louisiana I have grown to appreciate the AWD of our Lexus LX and Cayenne S. I'm sure I would feel a lot more confident in the rain w/ AWD but I wonder how much it detracts from the driving experience in the dry.

I drive a C4S every day. I drove a C4 and a C2 before buying it, and I don't think it detracts from the dry driving experience at all. I think the only time you'll really notice a difference is on the track, where the steering will feel a little heavier on the AWD cars.

Car actually has 95,000miles on it, the reason I got a C4S was because I like the widebody look, and also because I got a good deal on the car I can't really tell it is even AWD, I had a 996 C2 before, not a hugee difference in the way it drives. They both drive great!

might want to check on when the last service was done...you may be due for plugs and filters...

I know what you mean about the widebody...between that and the 4 wheel drive, turbo brakes and lowered suspension it won me over right away

Thumbs up

Congrats on the new car!

I love my C4S!

The only thing I'd trade it for is a 996/997 TT.
