Has anyone upgraded their 996 steering wheel?

Hey I've thinking about upgrading my steering wheel (ALCANTARA WHIT RED STITCHING).Has anyone done it? If so can u guys post some pics .Thanks.

I've thought about doing mine, love this one since i have silver interior accents, but the price is rediculous

It was done by Dallas Steering WHeel, a few have used here on 6speed, and satisfied as well.

I also wanted a full alc. wheel but went against it due to wear. Although I think it would last, I think most of us are pretty hard on the wheels and dont notice it and didnt want to deal with the issue IF it came up.

I LOOOOVEEE that MaCarbon wheel but didnt want to pay too much.

I posted a few pics a few months back of my dallas steering wheel. You really can't beat the quality and price for it. If I wanted to my 1k+, I'd definitely go for fvd or similar as the aftermarket ones are 340mm. I hate the stock 380mm size.

what sort of slip ring/hub do you need in order to put a race wheel on? I see the stuff on ebay all the time, but question the quality/fitment
