Repost: CDR-210 I want run iPod help me out!

My info:

CDR-210 single disc
NO-CD changer
Factory Nokia amplifier

I'm not concern about charging the iphone or ipod.

Some one said this on the forum... I'm leaning towards this idea.

"plug it in the CD changer and turned it into a 3.5mm to RCA input (RCA input to old changer input)"

Where can I get this adapter plug?

That plugs into back of the radio and has a 2 female RCA jacks.

Does the blue harness plug into the back of the radio to replace the cd changer?

You should be able to sell your CDR-210 no problem. Then you can get an Alpine head unit for under $200 with a wire that has the iPod connector on the end. Just plug in your iPod, and you control everything right on the head unit- search songs, artists, albums, playlists, or shuffle etc, and it charges while in use. It is a really good partnership. I have NO affiliation with Apple or Alpine, I just use their stuff.

I'm trying to maintain the CDR-210 and just install an ipod connector through the cd changer. It's been done before. Just using those plugs. Just want to make sure which wire I need.

I have a 210 in my 97 993 cab, and I added the Solisto Pro box instead of a simple cable. I get iPod/iPhone cable w/ charging, USB for mp3s on flash drives/SDcards, and a 1/8" stereo jack for stereo audio. All cables are provided, and I got the main cable installed at the cd changer input for $30.

I can control devices with the 210 or with the devices themselves. Sounds great!

I just really need the cable. It's more simple. I don't need to charge it while using. It will be my iphone.

My car has a CR-220. I'm using a spec.dock iPod dock that replaces the ashtray in my car. The wire harness then connects to the back of the radio in the place of the CD changer. Connect 1 wire to power and 1 wire to ground and then activate the "AUX" function.
