wheel suggestion
wheel suggestion
I have been looking at various wheel combinations for a while, on this site as well as others. I have a 99 C4 Black Cab and am really leaning towards the new design turbo twist. However, after looking at Static911's blacked out wheels shown here ... https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...threadid=23338 I wonder if the turbo twist wheel painted black would good. Any comments? - Also if anybody is good at photoshop, will he/she please post an example? Thanks

all the above stated wheels are nice...
My choice is to run with HRE or BBS. One of the qualms I have against the turbo twists is it doesn't have any dish. If you're going to do some upgrading at least get a nice deep dish and polish that lip
IMHO

Thank you for the suggestions. What I meant to say was that I want the wheels posted in the following pic. I was just wondering what they would look like in black?

I had the black face and polished lip on mine to begin with but after driving past Honda after Honda with black faces it was time to go.....
I sprung for the HRE wheels...... I'll have to post some new shots....

I have Champion Motorsport forged aluminum wheels on my S4 and have really been impressed with them. They also seem to be less expensive than the HRE's. They are also very light. I have not weighed mine but was told that my 18's were around 16 pounds each. I know they feel significantly lighter than the stock 17's. There is a good picture of them in the link in my signature. Good luck with the search.
