if so how does it attach underneath. I know the C2 bottom mount points don't line up and people have been fabricating extensions or using zip straps, but there is an open gap.

Does the 40th have the same mount points at the C4S and turbo or does porsche make a factory filler/extension piece for the 40th? I'm sure many who have or want to do a turbo nose on a C2 would love an oem or oem looking looking piece for the underbody.

So a 40th bumper would not require any rigging and would not have a gap, but would bolt up to a C2, or are you talking about the fact they are painted differently with the side vents being body coloured.

I just recently installed a turbo bumper on my C2. I didn't want that gap, so I searched for the parts used on the 40th anniversary. The part I found was called an air baffle, it surrounds the inside of the center grill and extends down to the mounting points of the body. The gap is completely gone with this part. The piece is quite large and qiute expensive but secures everything nicely. p/n 996 504 085 00 707 It costs around 560 cdn wholesale or 700 retail.

The bodyshop told me the turbo ducts don't fit, so I used the originals.

Great, thanks for the confirmation. Also any chance of getting a parts list of you? I will just make me more confident when I order. Your info would be greatly appreciated and I am sure CoreyNJ would like it too

parts list

Other than the bumper, grills, and lower lip. I bought

two headlight trim-996 505 741 02
-996 505 742 02

two finder liner extensions- 996 504 124 00
- 996 504 123 00

the air baffle/inlet-996 504 085 00

and some small screws I don't have the part numbers for.

This is all you need, hope it helps. Have you bought the parts yet, because Suncoast has good prices for all of this. I paid 1000 US for a brand new bumper, three grills, and c4s lip. I think the headlight was 15 each and fender liner pieces for around 60 each.
