Bilstein PSS9's...
Bilstein PSS9's...
Arling, maybe you can help with this - but if anyone has any insight, please respond.
How low can I go with the PSS9's? I've read some previous threads on the forums in regards to this - but I'm looking for experience from the C2 side...
Would like to have my car slightly lower than a GT3
- will the PSS9's still have enough travel?
I currently have Tech Art springs...sigh, my car is high.

I may be wrong, but I thought the PSS9's can go down up to 3 inches from stock...I would say YES it can go lower than GT3, my car seems to be at GT3 height, or close to it, but I may go down another 1/2 inch, once I get a certain set of rims that is...
Thanks John...this is what is holding me back from getting the PSS9's. After seeing the pics from the Carlsbad run, my car looks like a Cayenne. Not to mention I don' t like the way it handles at speeds 100+...seems a little too wavy IMO.
I'd like to go with the PSS9's, but want to ensure that I can go slightly lower than a GT3 and still have enough travel to make the PSS9's functional. I've read a bunch about this on the forums, but nothing in regards to the C2 in particular. I'd be bummed to toss in a set of PSS9's and end up with the same ride height.
There are a lot of factors that come into play, but I just feel that the GT3 sits perfectly (with 18's) - I have 19's so I'd want mine to sit slightly lower...

Just got this info back from a new member who can't post (username= coaster) - this is great stuff, thanks Jim.
I would have responded to your post on 6speedonline but Shank hasn't I would have responded to your post on 6speedonline but Shank hasn't

Albert....Solution....buy a GT3! hahaha
Hmm, part the entire car out and get a GT3....it's been a year now after all (for last 3 years, every year I've swapped to a new car LOL)
But I actually like my car and it only has 10K miles on it

Jeff if you're listening, come by my car this week before I end up thowing more money into it....and I just payed for registration as well!
albert,
u can go lower than GT3 but that's not we recommended. just don't forget our install includes 2 alignments. u can always try it first. if u don't like it we'll re-align it.

I don't think with the x74 suspension you are supposed to be running standard alignment specifications. There is another set of specs out there that you should be running. I think its somewhat akin to the GT3 alignment. I remember having an official Porsche sheet that listed the differences.
