Steering wheel repair

hey guys......

I need some advice or ideas with regards to my shabby looking steering wheel. Have any of you repaired the leather or had it smoothed and re-dyed?

My interior is truly a 9 out of 10... and this is becase of the wheel looking so sad...

thoughts?

i just saw a leather repair dye on ebay. Do a search for it on there. It says exact match for our cars. Was about $30. I had the same trouble I just changed mine to a black wheel.

That interior looks so clean except for the steering wheel, will look great once you clean it or fix it

try the $30 dye. the worse that could happen is that it will not look perfect.. and you lost $30 only. Then you still can go to plan B, have it redone for around $300 or so..

Did mine at aglausa.com ... Very happy with the result but took forever to get the steering wheel back... Went from 2 weeks to 6 weeks

Mine looked just like yours. Go here http://www.worlduph.com/semdye.htm
get a can of dye, its the exact Porsche color, masking tape and newspaper the area all around the steering wheel and you will be amazed, it looks like new. I gave mine 5 light coats, it was dry in 30 minutes, put leather conditioner on it and a year later it still looks like the day I did it - $18.00
