Funny sounding name Tarzane... But I've been told to look up " Two Fat Guys Leather" i just did a google search on them and found their site. If they are crazy enough to use a name like that.. im sure their work speaks for itself. Good Luck!

I remember calling a local repair outfit a couple of years ago. The price was relatively low. They would come, and do the whole thing where you were. What threw me off is that then I looked up the leatherique site, and it seems that to dye properly the leather has to be sanded and prepped... a pain in the rear... and then dying. this would take more than a few hours which made me hesitate about a quick service as most of them are.

that was my hesitation too... the wait time. I ended up leaving my car for 6 hours. They stripped the topcoat, sanded and filled, then redyed the entire interior so that it would all match.

I'm sure its standard practice for a "job well done"

Funny name. Similar to one of my car guys, he goes by "Fat Pat". You would never guess how good he is looking at this shop.

Tarzan -

From what i was explained at the shop, the products they use at the time of initial cleaning is designed to loossen the "dead" leather allowing easy sanding. The sanding is only done to break loose the rough edges.

Its truly an amazing procedure and i thought i was going to spend thousands to acheive what they did for $300.!

Go local and help out small business!! Keep us posted.

$300? That's crazy good. I priced just getting my two front seats re-done for $125 each. After seeing your pics, I really want to do it. Great work.
