Bought a 911 40th Anniversary.
So I just bought my first Porsche. So excited. I was originally looking for a 05-06 997. But I fell in love with this 996. A lot of people have told me not to change anything on this car, due to it being a "special edition". What are your take on this. I wanted to put a GT style wing on it.

40th is one of the most under rated Porsches. Awesome car man. Congrats. I would mod away, but I would keep the original parts.

I use to love mine. Sold June of the year to upgrade to a 997TT.
Very special car. Not a lot of them out there.

Very nice ride! I'd mod it too, but a wing on a narrow body? I guess the GT3's have them, but IDK. I think it looks better without IMHO. Have fun!

Great purchase! I was also looking at a 40th Anniversary car a couple of years ago and it was one of my 2 finalists. I know I would have been happy with the 40th -- there are some great features and upgrades, and you've gotta love the GT Silver paint. Enjoy!
