Led headlights !!!!! Video and pix installed!!!!
Guys, your lights look great! Mine are just waiting for the right timing to be installed. Maybe this weekend - New Year = new lights
Just a quick question on these particular set before I start the install:
1. I believe the the LED lights on the bottom part turn white to yellow when the signal light flasher is activated. So, there will be no way to convert these to DRL's? (Always on when ignition is at on position)
2. Is there a way to run a wire separately so that these LEDs can be ON always? Maybe separately connect them to a DRL relay switch connected to the battery?
3. If the answer to both of the above mentioned questions is NOT POSSIBLE then could the LEDs on the side of the projector light lens instead be converted to DRL's?
Hope you can shed light on these concerns. TIA!

The headlights are fully closed up and there is a harness that gets plugged into when you slide the lights in. Not sure if you ever saw the back of the lights before. I would not try to turn any of them into DRL. If i were to do any of the lights i would do the led's around the projector, don't mess with the bottom led's.
Im shocked on all the people on here who think these look great... I think its great to get a projector if yours is like mine with a standard halogen housing, but the LED lights looks extreamly cheezy and goofy to me. Seems like a style of "fast and furious" style lights. Maybe they look better in person?

If you take the rubber cover off for the fog lights, feel inside and you will feel the connector for those lights. I'm sure you can just unplug them and just wire a switch right to it.
Thanks for this. Will post the outcome of this DRL project.
Guys, How do you adjust the level of the beam on these headlights???
I saw 3 plastic hexagon nuts at the back part but I'm not sure which ones you turn for up - down, left - right and in what direction do you turn???

I wanted to just experiment but the only way to turn this nuts is when the headlight assembly is dismounted :-( HELP! :-(

Cant sleep! Tossing and turning in my bed so i decided to sneak out to the garage :-)
Anyway i dismounted the 2 headlight assemblies and experimented on those hex nuts. Found out that the one on the top part adjusts the Projector beam left - right whilst the hex nut on the bottom part is for up - down. I discovered that there is a flaw on these headlights and that is if you adjust the projector to go up and over do it - the projector lid will hit the plastic lens :-( i actually scratched the plastic lens.
After several trial and errors, mounting, dismounting, clockwise, counter clockwise turns. I finally succeeded. I was able to bring up the beam to a satisfactory level but now i find the high beam quality to be inferior to my low beam HID. My high beam bulbs are H1 Philips halogens Diamond Visions. Should i also upgrade the highbeam Bulbs to HID? Can the housing actually handle an additional HID load/ballast?

I have the red wire from ballast plugged into headlight and black wire, I have grounded to the post that is holding the headlight housing. How do you have your low's grounded?(black wire from ballast)
Before i connected my hid's i used a volt meter to trace what wire was what on the headlight harness. You might need the "error" adapter. Some cars need them. DDMTUNING.COM has them i know that. I haven't had any problems with my lights. Mine are 6000k 35watt.
