Robyn I know Shaun already talked to you - who else might be interested? We can do a P-car photoshoot in Alameda or another picturesque locale.

Probably meet around 2 somewhere on Sunday, maybe go for a drive, shoot some photos, and go out to dinner afterward.

We'll also try to organize something with more lead time maybe in June, and try to get a bigger group.

see updates in the 996 turbo forum...

Regarding Peninsula/south bay meeting spot....
For those coming up from south of San Bruno, Millbrae, Burlingame area, etc...there is a good size parking lot in the BayHill shopping center just off hwy 280 at San Bruno Ave & Cherry Ave with a starbucks, mollie stones, jamba, couple of small cafe's. Next to the starbucks there is an isolated section of the lot that would be a good place to park while waiting for the rest of the crew. Then we can jump back on 280 and head over to Alameda Point...its about a 20min drive from there if the sunday fwy traffic is light through the city. What do you guys think?

Let's meet at Bayhill at 1:30pm and allow time for coffee, jamba juice etc...then we'll head over to Alameda aiming to arrive there 2:30-2:45. Should be the perfect time to catch some great photos with the sun falling behind buildings, hangers etc..

I am interested in joining you guys at the bayhill shopping center. I hope we can do some driving on 35 or hwy1 but given we are going to almeda point, that may not be possible. Either way, I look forward to it. I'll have my C2 cab.

Hey Robyn, we'll meet you in Alameda just outside the main gate, no need to come all the way over... figured the Bayhill mtg point would work out for those coming up from the south bay and peninsula area. We're going to aim to arrive in Alameda 2:30-2:45. Is anybody else from the east bay coming out?

Sorry Ken, only 3 of us showed up at Bayhill and decided it wasn't worth the drive to Alameda - posted up from Starbucks that we weren't making it over there (on the thread in the Turbo forum).

We'll have to plan more in advance I think next time - sorry about that, hope you guys didn't go out of your way to get there .

Hey GoWide,

No problem, it was a beautiful day to be out.
Had a chance to meet Kev993tt, he lives in Alameda and I'm just 15 minutes away.
We came up with a couple of scenarios on your no show.

1. You guys decided to goto the Blowfish restaurant first and had one sake too many.
2. On your way up to Alameda, it takes just one person to hit the throttle, everyone else follows and guns it. You guys all get caught and thrown in jail.
