Thumbs up Wrapped 996 PICS*

I have been wanting to post these for awhile, but work has been driving me up the wall!
A friend and I wrapped my 996 a few weeks back
Its matte black w/ CF mirrors and hood. I love how it came out ,because I also got new wheels and tires to go with her! Took her out for a wash and this was the results

If anyone has questions about wrapping post it here, it took us 3 days and a little over 20hrs

Enjoy!

Wondering if the cut lines cut into the paint?

Looks great. I'm just confused on the fad for some to matte out their cars. I've spent years (decades) perfecting polishing my paint to a mirror shine.

For one Germany has tons of gravel and my hood and bumper were taking a beating. I wanted clear bra, but..instead chose to wrap her
I like matte, not all cars can pull it off, only curvy exotics mostly.
And people stare like no tomorrow.
Plus Im happy with it

A bit confused on how you can cut the vinyl over the paint but not have the blade cut into the paint?

Looks great...very nice job. I like how the new wheels match with the wrap. Do you have more pictures of the hood...I'd like to see how that contrast with the fenders/front bumper. Also, do you have pictures of the roof...I'd be interested in how that was done. Why not wrap the door sil? I've been thinking of doing something similar. Is this something that you feel can be done by one individual or does it require two people?

You do it carefully, whenever I cut the vinyl it was at the end of that panel.
Meaning that their was a place to cut, and the fold it under, no need to cut the vinyl while it was over the panel. Seems confusing, but every panel has some space between it.

I want to get the wheels powdercoated red, like the gt3rs. But that is for later. I will see what I can do today for more pics, its raining out.
I do have pics, when you wrap the rood, you need to leave the sunroof closed.
Do not try any full wrap w/o vinyl spray, it makes your job millions of times more easier.
I wanted a little two tone, it looks good when you open the door. I like it.
You need a minimum of 2 people if you want to leave the project feeling sane

I was thinking around the areas around the front and rear windows since there is no gap unless you pull off the rubber moldings. How did you do those?

+1 When I was a teenager I had cars that had "matte" paint, but only because they were out in the sun for too many years without being waxed.
