Thoughts/advice needed.

Hey fella's can someone tell me what body kit is on this car?

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...14991032&Log=0

I really dislike the mesh in the front, looks cheap but everything else I like. Any information or thoughts is appreciated. What would be a realistic price to offer, due to the aftermarket cosmetic changes...not for the better lol.

^please not I am not into the rice look, or body kits. I'm just in the market and can't decide what I want, c4, c2? C4s and TT are not necessarily out of the question, but not exactly what I want at the moment due to the price. I would buy a 993 or 964 T instead for about the same price as the C4s and TT.
TIA

I'm not sure what kind of body kit that is but you have to purchase within your budget, first and foremost, and then get the car that you love. If you don't like it, then don't buy it. Remember, you will be the one driving it everyday and your opinion is all that matters. Trust me, any Porsche will turn most heads no matter where you go.

^ Oh I know what you mean, I had a 83' 944 a while back and loved every second of it. It was an eye catcher but that is not why I want another or a 911. My budget has a bit of a range, but I don't want to spend more then 25k on a c2 or c4 from the early part of the generation.

It is a GT2 style front with some type of lip spoiler. No way to know the manufacturer. But it is probably http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...4-p-29096.html. If it is a two piece and the lip is separate, you could remove it and the mesh and it would look a lot better.
I paid 20k even for my 2000 with 80000 miles, full records, clean PPI, and in great shape inside and out. On the plus side that car has aluminum dash rings, which have gotten a lot more expensive, some good looking pedals, great looking wheels, and Liptronics.

The mesh might not look bad in person. Good quality mesh like rennline is actually a nice upgrade, and it keeps your radiators much cleaner than the oem grills. Cheap mesh looks... cheap...

I haven't thought of it that way Dennis in person it might actually look good.

OT: for those of you who looked at the photos...your probably wonder why a Morgan, Lotus and other higher end dealership has a large piece of wood in the window. To answer a older lady drove right into the show room, she wasn't parking either, just driving down Woodward Ave on a plus nobody was hurt. A GTR or Noble 400 or Aero 8 (I forget what) was dinged up a bit.

Since the direct approach is frequently the quickest - why not have the dealership ask the owner what kit it is?
