Why doesn't 6speedonline have any Porsche picture on top banner?

I mean majority of the car(s) categories are Porsches.

 

Because Porsche will come after you if they don't get a piece of the pie. Since 6speed and other webistes make money (not a lot of money) off the site though advertizers. Porsche will not let them make money off thier name or image.
Try selling something with Porsche all over and see how fast they come after you. Even the PCA clubs can NOT use the Porsche logo or image.

 

Yeah, you really have to think about their logic on that one.

 

I get it now.... but my question was reasonable considering that this forum covers 70% Porsche. Ironically the Exotics don't care.

 

Come to think of it, I thought their problem was with the logo - not pictures of the cars. Does anyone know different?

 

many years ago ('05?) there were porsches in the top banner. porsche threatened lawsuit and the board owners had to take it off.

Wow, I wonder if they'll come after me for having a Porsche in my banner?!?!

 

PCA regions are allowed to use the Porsche crest, script and images. Just look at the webpage www.pca.org.

 

Put a pic of a RUF up there.
