aluminum pedals

I am looking for ideas on which aluminum pedals for my 996 C4S would be the most ideal for heel-toe action at driving events. I can easily heel-toe (double de-clutch) for downshifts if I have on a wide sole shoe, but for driving events I prefer to wear driving shoes which are a bit narrower. Are there some manufacturers of pedals that have a better shape to the gas pedal that will facilitate the heel-toe action? Some of the pedals that I have considered have a wider flare at the bottom of the gas pedal, while others are just wider throughout the entire length of the pedal. Thanks

I would stay away from the widened versions that claim improved toe-heel action. I´m sure they would get you into trouble using wider soles.
Alu pedals look nice, but I have no problem toe-heeling with the stock pedals. Nothing wrong with black rubber! I have small feet, and still prefer driving/racing shoes, for feel, space and less entanglement.

Gert´s pedals are the same as Ruf´s without the branding, right?

I have these similar to RUF and Carnewal but I think even better because they require no drilling! They snap on so the install is cake and you don't ruin your stock pedals by drilling

Thumbs down

Ooooo.. Are those made in Taiwan?

No where near looking like Ruf. Yuk. Are you not afraid of them slipping off in an emergency?

This disclaimer worries me too.

"DISCLAIMER:

Carcrafter products are sold as decorative accessories and should not be relied upon as protection and or performance for the vehicle or occupants. Carcrafter assumes no liability for injury, loss, incidental or consequential damages for the improper installation or misuse of this product."

"decorative accessories"? You mean they work like a color guage face or painted shift ****? What if you are wearing your Wingtips and the sole caught the peddle while your changing from gas to brake and the peddle come partially off and then totally off when you go full braking? Not a pretty pricture is it?

Some things are hard to install for a reason. Maybe we could design a snap in engine. Or pop on wheels and brake rotors. Won't that be cool?

Taiwan, no. USA. They lock into place, so no im not afraid of them falling off. Having a disclaimer for improper install is what all laywers would recommend, not at all out of the ordinary. I also said similar to RUF and they are very similar looking. The last part of your post I wont even bother on commenting on. Sheesh.

I have the CarCrafters, easy to install and fit tight. I had the NR Auto on my 993 and it discolored after awhile.
