Weight of 3.6 liter engine

Does anyone know the weight of a 2002 porsche 911 996 3.6 liter engine. I want to know how heavy my motor will be when I remove the two rear bolts to lower the motor 3 inches to get my coolant expansion tank out. I intend to use a jack that is made to lift motorcycles. It is rated to support 1500 pounds. I like the jack that I intend to use because it has a wide wheel base, will not tent to turn over, and has a lot of surface area that can be spread out to support the entire width and depth of the oil pan. Hopefully reducing the possibility of damaging the oil pan. Just want to make sure that the engine will not exceed the 1500 pound rating of the lift.

Thanks for the help.

I have used my motorcycle jack several times to lower my engine. My Harley weighs much more than the engine.

Thanks to all for your responses. I did manage to use the motorcycle jack that I got at sears. It was rated up to 1500 pounds and it worked nicely. I did manage to get that !;(*#?ing! expansion tank in today. I will go into detail about that odisy in my thread titled "coolant leak".

I always use a piece of 2x12 on top of my jack to spread the load. Just an idea.
