Any British here?

Hi

As you may know i picked up my first 996 about a month ago now and am looking for a show of hands for any UK living 996 owners that use the forum??? The G/F is slowly warming to the idea of us owning a 'pretentious' car (her words not mine) and planning ahead i was looking to rack up some miles up n down the country just for an excuse to drive our new family member.

So if you want to shout out a general location then on my many future travels i'll drop a PM and see if you can meet and compare stories anywhere from John o'Groats to Lands End or Dover to Dundee.

Personally i am London based and see plenty of P-cars around surely some of you must use the forum?

You might want to check out http://www.tipec.net
Good bunch of people though I'm biased since a friend runs the Thames Valley section. I'm told that PCA GB tends to focus on new models and is more about black tie dinners...

Im heading up your way in February pal, of if you're around perhaps i can give you a yell on the way. It's bit of a drive in the 996 perhaps but what better way to to travel. My cars previous owner is from Dundee so if he can drive it from there to Nottingham in its migration south i can fly north. Have you driven far out from Glasgow, whats the driving like? Being a Londoner its either M25 traffic, speed cameras or speed bumps.
