Phew! For a second, I thought you were going to turn the Porsche into a Lexus and the Lexus 430 into a track rat by stripping the interior and adding race coilovers to it.

At least you were able to achieve what you initially set out to do. Now onto the next set of mods!

In think I'm done with mods said no one ever. Seriously though the sound system is done. amp, Sub, Double din, new speakers. Sound proofing, rear camera, front camera, exhaust, LED tails, turbo front bumper, tint, LED interior and exterior bulbs and rear spacers. The last thing I might do is aluma look on some interior pieces. Oh wait lowering springs gotta have those

Last post to wrap this up.

The problem I was faced with was excessive noise in the cabin as mentioned original post. To resolve it I did the following:

1. Adjusted the driver window to seal tight against the weatherstrip. Had to loosen the glass and raise it in the clamps. This got rid of highway whistling and wind noise

2. Dampener and Sound Barrier in the Rear Hatch area behind the back seat and above the engine
After Damplifier:

After Sound Barrier:

3. Dampener and Sound Barrier on the doors (Dampener not pictured as it is covered by the Sound Barrier)

4. Dampener and Sound Barrier behind the rear quarter interior panels and on the wheel wells (not pictured but behind this)

This has made a significant difference in reduction of vibration, rattle and interior noise. The car is quiet now and you can easily make phone calls at highway speed. The door speakers and rear speakers sound better as well.

While they had the car apart I had a rearview camera installed in the rear bumper. If you look at the camera display below, the closest blue marker is pretty much an inch beyond the bumperettes. So you can back up to a wall with full confidence and stop 2" short. The camera angle is so wide that you can see the license plate itself. Also the resolution in this display picture is no where near as crisp as it looks in person. The image is very clear.

Nice job. I'm glad the full treatment of sound reduction materials/materials worked out for you.

I wish you did it in steps to see which would've been the most effective but either way glad you got the results that you wanted.
