2004 failing smog after battery swap

Cats weren't ready in my 996TT I just got (shipped from out of state so they disconnected the battery). Driving around 40mph and RPM not above 3k RPM had them go ready in a few miles. The other note I saw was no extreme throttle angle changes or it stops the "learning"

I wouldn't recommend trying to idle in gear for a stick shift.
